Drunk driver kills 7-year-old, injures parents in Hyderabad car accident

Hyderabad: A 7-year-old boy tragically lost his life, and his parents were injured when their bike was struck by a car driven by a drunk driver in Ibrahim Bagh under the Golconda Police Station limits on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Srinath, was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and was driving on the wrong side of the road when the collision occurred. Eyewitnesses at the spot claimed the fact that the driver was intoxicated.
Upon receiving information about the accident, the police promptly arrived at the spot and arrested Srinath. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
It was reported earlier that a tragic accident occurred when a speeding car driven by a 19-year-old student crashed into a flyover near the Raidurgam Police Station limits in Hyderabad on Friday, August 2.
The deceased was identified as Charan, a BBA student from ICFAI University, returning from BNR Hills to his residence in Mehdipatnam.
According to reports, Charan lost control of his Swift Dzire vehicle, leading to a high-impact collision with the flyover. The 19-year-old Charan died on the spot, and his car was severely damaged. Local police arrived promptly after being alerted to the incident.
The police have determined that overspeeding caused the accident, causing the vehicle to veer off course and crash.
Another incident reportedly occurred when a young boy lost his life after being struck by a tire while urinating on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The deceased victim has been identified as a six-year-old boy named Mokshit Reddy from Patelguda village in Ameenpur Mandal.
According to the Ameenpur police, the boy was traveling with his family in a car on Sunday night when the incident occurred. The family had stopped their vehicle on the ORR near Sultanpur after Mokshit Reddy expressed the need to urinate.
While the boy was urinating, a tire from an unknown vehicle suddenly rolled toward him at high speed, causing severe injuries. Despite medical efforts, Mokshit succumbed to his injuries. The police suspect the tire may have come loose from a vehicle traveling on the ORR.
