Watch: DRF team rescues man who fell into nala in Ameerpet

Hyderabad: HYDRAA Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (DRF) has always remained at the forefront during rains and disasters. This time the DRF personnel successfully rescued a man who fell into the Leelanagar Nala in Ameerpet.

The man identified as 45-year-old Banoth Swamy accidentally slipped and fell into the nala near Marigold Hotel in the area on Wednesday. Locals, who noticed the man falling into it, immediately informed the police. After receiving a phone call, the police officials communicated it to the DRF team.

Responding to the call, a team led by Khairatabad Zonal Station Fire Officer (SFO) Mohana Rao rushed to the site and began the rescue operation. After his rescue, Banoth was found shivering from cold. The resuce team provided him dry clothes and later served him hot tea and breakfast so he can regain the energy. Subsequently, he was sent to the hospital for a medical check-up and later admitted to an old age home.
