Watch: Netflix drops a trailer on SS Rajamouli, features Prabhas, Tarak, Ram Charan

Hyderabad : Streaming platform, Netflix has dropped the trailer of the documentary on SS Rajamouli, titled, Modern Masters on Monday morning. It is one of the most awaited documentaries on Netflix, which is going to be released on August 2, 2024. The documentary features some of the top stars, James Camaron, Prabhas, Tarak, Ram Charan, Karan Johar speaking about the moments working with Rajamouli.

This documentary, which is produced by Applause Entertainment and Film Companion Studios, features SS Rajamouli and his film making style and what the actors go through in this process. The trailer offers a glimpse of how it feels to work with Rajamouli. Can also hear the testimonies of his actors and technicians working with him as well.

The documentary begins with Rajamouli, saying, “I want to tell an incredible story, I just want people to get invested in the movie.” and further goes on with the testimonies of Tarak, Prabhas, Ram Charan and others.

“This person is born to make films, he is born to tell stories that haven’t been told before,” says Tarak. In the documentary, Tarak was also seen speaking about Rajamouli and his ‘lack of empathy’ when it comes to actors. About the working style, Tarak further said, just give him what he needs and get out of it

While the Kalki 2898AD actor, Prabhas was seen saying, “I haven’t met anyone like that, he is mad person thats all.” Meanwhile, RRR actor, Ram Charan was seen saying, “Sometimes I’m shocked, I see myself as a third person when I see his films, when I’m working in it.”

Further Bollywood producer Karan Johar was seen saying, “He is absolutely in the bracket of legends and greats already. He is already a legend. Now he can become like an even bigger legend.”

The documentary also features Rajamouli’s wife, Rama Rajamouli, who calls her husband a ‘Pani Rakshasudu’, a demon of work, while his brother and Oscar winning music composer, MM Keeravani in an emotional moment.

The documentary ends with a note, “The only thing that I am a slave to is my story,” by Rajamouli.
