Diljit Dosanjh explores Old city of Hyderabad ahead of Dil-Luminati concert

Hyderabad: Punjabi music and actor Diljit Dosanjh explores the old city of Hyderabad ahead of his Dil-Luminati concert on Friday evening, November 15. Telangana authorities served him notices placing certain restrictions on his upcoming programme.

As per the notice issued on November 7, the famous singer has been asked to avoid songs that promote alcohol, drugs, and violence. He’s also been advised against “using children” on stage during the show.

The notice has been issued by the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens of Ranga Reddy district after a Chandigarh resident Panditrao Dharenvar requested the Telangana authorities to disallow the singer from singing such songs.

In his representation, Dharenvar submitted proof that Diljit Dosanjh had sung such songs during the live music concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on October 26 and 27. Following this, notices were served to the Punjabi singer and the show organizers, which added, “Therefore, we are issuing this notice in advance to deter promoting alcohol/drugs/violence through songs in your live show.”

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh, currently on his 10-city Dil-luminati tour, was seen touristing near the historical monument Charminar. The singer posted the video of his visit on his official X handle. The video shows him sitting in an autorickshaw and hugging the auto driver. Later, Diljit is shown offering prayers at a Shiva Temple. He also visited a local gurudwara to seek blessings before the start of his musical concert in Hyderabad.
