Dil Raju Assures Full Support to Injured Sri Teja
HYDERABAD: Telangana Film Federation chairman Dil Raju on Thursday responded to concerns over the health of Sri Teja, who was injured during the release of the film Pushpa at Sandhya Theatre.
Two crore deposit to support the family
Raju said the industry would extend complete support to Sri Teja. He said ₹2 crore had already been deposited and that the monthly interest from the amount was being routed directly to Sri Teja’s father.
He added that around ₹70 lakh had been provided for hospital treatment so far.
Rehabilitation costs covered by Allu Arjun
Raju said actor Allu Arjun was bearing the expenditure for rehabilitation. “Sri Teja is gradually recovering,” he said.
Family seeks additional help
Sri Teja’s father said Allu Arjun’s team “responded well” and had supported the family in every possible manner. He said they still required some additional financial help. According to him, all issues had been discussed with Raju, who assured that he would try to extend all necessary assistance.
