HYDERABAD: The Telugu release of Dhurandhar 2 faced delays on its opening day due to content delivery issues, triggering confusion across theatres and social media.

As a result, audiences reported widespread disruptions. In response, director Aditya Dhar addressed the situation and issued an apology. He shared a statement on X, calling the film a deeply personal project and stressing that the team had planned a simultaneous multi-language release.

“Dhurandhar is not just a film for us; it is something we have lived with, nurtured, and dreamed of sharing with each one of you at the same moment, in every language,” he said.

Meanwhile, the team revised show timings after technical glitches surfaced. Most Hindi screenings across India began as scheduled from 5PM. However, Tamil and Telugu shows will now start from 09 PM.

Additionally, the Malayalam and Kannada versions will release only from the following morning due to unforeseen technical issues.

To address concerns, the makers are offering refunds to viewers who booked tickets for affected dubbed versions. Alternatively, audiences can watch the Hindi version with subtitles where available.

“We truly apologise for the inconvenience. Your love for this film means the world to us, and we cannot wait to share it with you,” Dhar added.

Following the delay, the issue sparked widespread discussion online, with many cinema-goers expressing confusion over show timings before the official clarification.
