Hyderabad: Ganja business is thriving in Dhoolpet area despite the police crackdown and the Prohibition and Excise department’s constant vigil.
The continuous surveillance of the area for ganja distribution and constant watching of drug peddlers are now paying off dividends to the enforcement agency.
Recently, the Special Task Force apprehended three women who were involved in selling ganja in the Bada Bungalow area of Dhoolpet. The accused have been identified as Pinta Singh, Rachna Bai and Sanjana Bai. The authorities seized 1.450 kg ganja from them. The police said another accused named Vijay Bai is absconding.
