Revanth Reddy congratulates Dhanush Srikanth for Deaflympics gold
Hyderabad : Chief minister Revanth Reddy on Monday congratulated Hyderabad shooter Dhanush Srikanth for winning the gold medal in the 10-metre air rifle event at the ongoing Deaflympics in Japan.
He said Dhanush had proved that disability is not a barrier when there is determination, and added that the young shooter had become an inspiration for athletes across the country.
“Dhanush has shown that resolve overcomes disability,” the chief minister said.
Reddy noted that Dhanush not only won gold but also set a new world record in the 10-metre air rifle category. He wished the shooter more success in the future and urged him to move ahead with confidence and discipline.
He said the government would extend full support to Dhanush in all possible ways.
