Watch: Devara actor’s huge cutout goes up in flames in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Jr NTR’s fan frenzy over much-anticipated ‘Devara:Part 1’ release at Hyderabad’s famous Sudarshan theatre was cut short after the flames engulfed the massive cutout of the Tollywood actor as they celebrated the film’s release by bursting firecrackers outside the theatre.

The video of the fire incident at Sudarshan theatre located at RTC X Roads has quickly gone viral on social media. Fans of Jr NTR had started gathering at the theatre since morning to catch the first day first show of their favourite actor’s solo release in 6 years.

Fans were celebrating the release of ‘Devara’ featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor like a festival. Excited fans started bursting firecrackers outside the theatre to express their love and admiration for their matinee idol and soon the sparks set the huge cutout on fire. Subsequently, the employees of the cinema theatre and local authorities managed to control the fire from spreading further.

Koaratala Siva’s directorial ‘Devara: Part 1’ was released globally on Friday. The fans of Jr NTR have taken the internet by storm with their positive reviews about the film. The die-hard fans of Jr. NTR have been posting their photos and videos on various social media platforms.

The film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in the Telugu industry while Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen in a key role in the upcoming movie.

Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s Devara has been recorded as the fastest movie as it sold more than 50,000 tickets for its premiere shows earning over Rs.12 crore in a span of just eight days in the US.
