Pawan Kalyan Mahesh Donate Babu Flood Relief

Hyderabad: Joining the list of celebrities and politicians who are donating for the cause of flood relief operations in Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan and actor Mahesh Babu promised to donate One crore for the CM Relief funds.

In an announcement, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan stated that he is donating Rs.1 crore for the CM relief fund. Pawan Kalyan further announced that he is monitoring the situation closely and did not go to the ground, as he would turn out to be a hurdle for the flood relief operations. He also added that he is reviewing the situation with the concerned officials.

Meanwhile, actor Mahesh Babu has announced Rs.50 lakh funding to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Announcing the same, the actor took to X and added that “In light of the floods impacting both the Telugu states, I am pledging a donation of 50 lakhs each to the CM Relief Fund for both AP and Telangana. Let’s collectively support the measures being undertaken by the respective governments to provide immediate aid and facilitate the recovery process for the flood-affected regions. I urge everyone to contribute to this cause. May we rise above this crisis and emerge stronger.”

Earlier in the day, several actors from Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Sundeep Kishan among others have announced that they are going to fund the Chief Ministers’ relief funds.

Telugu states are reeling under extreme flood situation, caused due to incessant rains caused after a depression formed in the Bay of Bengal. The rains have wreaked havoc and made several water bodies overflow.

Normal life has been disrupted and severely affected due to floods, especially in Khammam in Telangana and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Ministers of both the states, Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy are reviewing the situation closely in the affected areas.
