GHMC urges students to join dengue fever awareness program in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In response to the rising number of Dengue fever cases, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has launched a student volunteer program to raise public awareness and combat the threat of dengue fevers.
The program, titled “Join the Fight Against Dengue! Small Bite Big Threat,” seeks to empower students aged 14-22 to become ambassadors for Dengue prevention in their communities.
“We need your help to raise awareness and take action against dengue fever,” the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) stated. “Apply now to be part of our student-led awareness program.”
The program will involve participation in the “Dry-Day Activity,” a crucial initiative aimed at eliminating mosquito breeding grounds. Further details regarding specific activities will be provided to selected volunteers.
