DCP inspects Chilkalguda police station, stresses zero tolerance for corruption

HYDERABAD: Deputy Commissioner of Police, Secunderabad Zone, Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, conducted a formal inspection of Chilkalguda Police Station on January 19, 2026.
During the visit, the DCP inspected all patrol cars and Blue Colts vehicles attached to the division. She checked AD Drill Kits, the operational status of tablets, vehicle maintenance and Papillon devices. Grave crime case diary files and rowdy sheeter records were also reviewed.
Zero tolerance for corruption, focus on public service
Issuing clear instructions to the staff, the DCP warned against any form of corruption. She directed officers to maintain courteous behaviour with petitioners, respond promptly to Dial 100 calls and register first information reports without delay based on the merit and seriousness of complaints.
Emphasis on surveillance and quality investigations
She instructed personnel to maintain constant surveillance on rowdy sheeters and modus operandi criminals, and to initiate strict legal action against those who re-offend after being bound over. Officers were also told to ensure meticulous investigation in Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) cases, cybercrimes and property offences, with effective filing of charge sheets to secure convictions.
The inspection was attended by K. Shashank Reddy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chilkalguda Division; B. Anudeep, Station House Officer, Chilkalguda; L. Madhu Babu, Detective Inspector, along with sub-inspectors and other staff.
