Telangana High court issues notices to Danam Nagender

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court has issued notices to Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender in a case related to his change of political party.
The court took up a petition filed by Bharatiya Janata Party legislature party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, who sought to set aside the Speaker’s decision on the issue.
In the petition, Aleti said Danam, who was elected on a Bharat Rashtra Samithi ticket, later contested the Lok Sabha elections as a Congress candidate. He urged the court to declare Danam disqualified from the date he filed nomination from another party.
