Cyberabad Traffic Police introduce new lane for Shaikpet to Gachibowli traffic
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced a new traffic advisory aimed at improving traffic flow in Hyderabad. Beginning August 28, 2024, a new dedicated lane will be introduced on an experimental basis for vehicles coming from the Shaikpet flyover towards Gachibowli Junction and the IKEA Rotary.
This new lane will be operational from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. During this period, traffic from Bio-Diversity Junction heading towards the Shaikpet flyover will be directed to the left lanes, while the extreme right lane (the first lane) will be reserved exclusively for Shaikpet-bound traffic. Commuters are advised to be aware of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
1.Traffic Diversion Points:
1. For Traffic from Shaikpet Flyover and Dargah heading towards Gachibowli Junction and IKEA:
• Commuters should turn right at Khajaguda Junction to access the new dedicated lane.
• If traveling to IKEA, take a left onto the designated lane before the level-2 flyover.
• To reach the Gachibowli flyover, continue to the Pakwan U-turn and then merge into your lane.
2. For Traffic coming from Bio-Diversity Junction:
• Vehicles will have access to only two lanes. Drivers are advised to proceed slowly and stay in the left lane.
