Cyberabad SHE teams arrest 59 in decoy operations
HYDERABAD: Cyberabad SHE Teams conducted 127 decoy operations and arrested 59 persons red-handed for indecent acts in public places. Petty cases were booked in 63 instances, and the remaining persons were counselled. The SHE Teams also received 17 complaints from women victims through various modes.
As part of Operation Smile-XII, the Cyberabad Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) registered 49 JJ Act cases across the Cyberabad Commissionerate and rescued 215 children, including 200 boys and 15 girls. Efforts were made to reunite 31 families involved in marital disputes at Family Counselling Centres and CDEW Centres.
As part of preventive and awareness measures, AHTU and SHE Teams have conducted awareness programs across various locations in Cyberabad.
Around 6,615 members participated and received awareness on human trafficking, child trafficking, eve teasing, social media harassment, child marriages, child rights, child labour, stalking, begging, cyber bullying, cyber frauds, Women helpline 181, Child helpline 1098, Dial 100, Crimes 1930, and other topics.
