Cyberabad police raid at KTR’s brother-in-law’s farmhouse

Raj Pakala booked NDPS Act

Madhapur: The Special Operation Team (SOT) Cyberabad raided a farmhouse in Janwada belonging to Raj Pakala, brother-in-law of K Taraka Ramarao (KTR), Bhartiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president under Mokila police station of Cyberabad commissionerate.

On the intervening night of 26/27th Oct, on information of a Rave party a raid was organized by Narsingi Police, SOT and Excise Officials, The officials raided a farmhouse in Janwada of Mokila PS jurisdiction. Cyberabad police have filed two cases following a raid on a farmhouse in Janwada where a party was hosted by Raj Pakala, also known as Rajendra Prasad Pakala.

According to the Cyberabad police, they have found 21 males and 14 females at the party, who were taken into custody. On suspicion checked, the male participants were checked with drug kits. A person named Vijay Madduri tested positive for cocaine. Subsequently, Vijay Madduri was sent to a hospital for a blood test. A case is registered U/s 27 of NDPS Act in Mokila PS.

Party organized without requisite permissions

“Investigation revealed that a liquor party was organized without the requisite permission from the excise department. The police found seven unauthorized foreign liquor bottles and 10 loose Indian liquor bottles.The premises were checked with a sniffer dog,” said Cyberabad police.

Further probe revealed that the farmhouse owner, Raj Pakala, organized the party.He did not obtain Excise license for serving liquor. Following which, a case was registered against him u/s 34 A, 34 (1) r/w 9 of the Excise Act by the State Excise Task Force.

The SOT police handed the case to Moksh police, who booked a case and further investigation is underway.
