Cyberabad police bust illegal ginger-garlic factory, seize Rs. 15 lakh worth of paste

Cyberabad Police Raid Fake Ginger-Garlic Factory

Hyderabad: In a swift operation on July 12th, the Cyberabad Police’s Special Operations Team (SOT) raided an illegal factory manufacturing fake ginger-garlic paste. The raid, conducted based on a tip-off, targeted Apna Enterprises located in Green City, Budvel, Rajendranagar.

The Police seized a significant amount of fake ginger-garlic paste, totaling approximately 7.3 tonnes. The seized product is estimated to be worth around Rs. 15 lakh. Amir Nizan has been identified as the owner of the Apna Enterprises.

The initial investigations confirm the use of harmful substances in the production process, including synthetic colors, acids, and chemical water. Food safety officers are currently conducting tests on the seized paste to determine the exact composition and potential health risks.

The investigation into the illegal production of fake ginger-garlic paste is underway.
