Cyberabad police issue public order to maintain peace during Group-III exams
Cyberabad: In an effort to maintain public order and prevent any disturbances during the Group-III Services Examination, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty, has issued a public order under Section 163 of the BNSS Act.
The order prohibits the assembly of five or more persons within a 200-meter radius of any examination center during the Group-III OMR-based exam scheduled for November 17 and 18, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two sessions, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition, all photocopying (Xerox) and internet centers will remain closed within a 100-meter radius of the examination centers during the exam hours to ensure a smooth and disturbance-free process.
The following categories of individuals are exempt from the order:
Police officers on duty; Military personnel on duty; Home Guards on duty; Flying Squad members; Education Department personnel; Funeral processions.
The restrictions will be in force from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both exam days, November 17 and 18, 2024.
The public has been urged to adhere to the order, as any violation will result in prosecution under Section 163 of the BNSS Act.
