Cyberabad police busts major drugs racket, arrest 4 in Mailardevpally

Mailardevpally: Cyberabad police busted a drugs racket and arrested four persons in connection with the same on Sunday under Mailardevpally police station limits.
The accused were identified as Salman Shah hailing from West Mumbai, Mohammed Ateeq resident of Mailardevpally, Rizwan Ali resident of Tolichowki and Mohammed Yaseen resident of Charminar, Hyderabad. And the absconding accused are identified as Shahed, Wajid, Neetha hailing from Mumbai, Abrar, Naser, Mohd Sameer hailing from Hyderabad.
On credible information and in joint operation with TG-NAB, Mailardevpally Police conducted a ride Saturday at 2:40 PM in the afternoon in the premises Plot in Friends Colony, Mailardevpally,
“The police found the accused persons during a search. The police team detected drugs – 90 grams MDMA drug. Investigation revealed that the accused are addicted to consuming MDMA drug with mixing it with Rajanigandha. Salman hailing from Mumbai Maharastra state came to Hyderabad to deliver 50 grams of MDMA drug to other accused” said Assistant Commissioner of Police,Rajendra Nagar. Meanwhile the T-Nab Staff and Mailardevpally Police apprehended them and seized 90 grams MDMA drug and 4 Mobile Phones from the possession of the accused.
Further probe revealed that the accused purchased the said drug from Salman and other drug peddler who are absconding. As per the contents of the above complaint a case was registered under NDPS Act and started investigation, said Cyberabad police in an official statement.
Subsequently, on Saturday police arrested the accused and produced before the court for judicial remand. Mailardevpally, Police put sincere efforts and arrested the accused persons and were remanded to judicial custody.
