Say goodbye to delays: Cyberabad police’s CPPMS ensures timely permissions

Cyberabad Police has Launched online Police Permission Management System

Cyberabad: The Cyberabad Police, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), officially launched the Cyberabad Police Permission Management System (CPPMS) on Friday, October 11, 2024. This web portal is designed to digitize police services and enhance the efficiency of permission approvals. This new initiative replaces the manual process, significantly reducing delays and ensuring faster, more transparent services for the public.

This effort highlights the Cyberabad Police’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve service delivery, increase accountability, and transparency, ultimately offering hassle-free citizen services.

Key Features and Benefits of CPPMS

  1. Re-engineered Process: The previous manual issuance of various police permissions has been revamped. For the convenience of the public, powers for granting event permissions have been delegated to Assistant Commissioners of Police (L&O), Deputy Commissioners of Police (L&O and Traffic), and Joint Commissioners of Police (Traffic).
  2. One-Stop Permission Platform: Event-related permissions can now be applied through a single online portal, eliminating the need to approach multiple offices.
  3. Timely Applications & Time-Bound Permissions: Event organisers are required to apply at least 10 days or 7 working days in advance to ensure smooth processing. Permissions will be granted on a time-bound basis.
  4. Automated Approval Process: In the event of delays, applications will be automatically forwarded to higher officials, preventing unnecessary holdups.
  5. Comprehensive Event Data and Analytics: The portal provides detailed information on past events, venue capacities, and other essential details, streamlining event planning.
  6. Real-Time Tracking & Transparent Services: Applicants can track the status of their applications in real-time, with all processes conducted securely and transparently.
  7. Freedom from Challan Submissions: The portal supports online fee payments through net banking.
  8. Venue Safety & Compliance Checks: Users can verify if venues have the necessary permissions, such as fire safety, ambulance services, and CCTV installations.
  9. Handling Rule Violations: Violations at non-ticketed events can be reported, and police will take strict action, including restricting future permissions if necessary.
  10. Accountability for Online Ticket Selling Platforms: Discrepancies between the number of permitted tickets and actual tickets sold will be addressed.
  11. Types of Permissions Available: In this first phase, the CPPMS web portal will grant permissions for the following:

Commercial/Ticketed Events Permission

Controlled Blasting NOC (Fresh)

The Cyberabad Police plans to include additional types of permissions in the CPPMS portal within three months.
