Cms

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has launched “Beyond Routine – Extra Hour Clean-up Drive”, a six-day sanitation campaign aimed at accelerating the clearance of legacy waste and unattended garbage across the city.

Special teams to target legacy waste across three zones

The initiative deploys dedicated sanitation teams, additional machinery and an extra hour of focused cleaning operations to remove identified legacy waste dumps.

The campaign began on Monday at Srila Park Road in KPHB Colony under the Kukatpally Zone, where legacy waste was cleared on the first day.

Campaign to continue in phased manner

The drive will continue in phases across the Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Quthbullapur zones to eliminate identified legacy waste locations and improve sanitation standards.

Corporation urges residents to dispose of waste responsibly

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation appealed to residents to hand over segregated waste only to authorised door-to-door collection vehicles. It also urged citizens not to dump waste on roadsides or vacant plots, saying public cooperation is essential for maintaining a clean urban environment.
