Flying drones, para-gliders banned around RGIA in Cyberabad, effective until June 9

Hyderabad: The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty, IPS, has issued an advisory on May 10, 2025, to ensure public safety and security in the area surrounding Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad.
In a move aimed at preventing potential hazards, the advisory prohibits flying activities, including remotely controlled drones, para-gliders, and remotely controlled micro-light aircraft, within a 10-kilometer radius of the airport.
The order, issued under Section 163 of the BNSS, will remain in effect from May 10, 2025, to June 9, 2025. Any individual found violating this directive will face penalties under the relevant sections of the law.
The police have explained the importance of adherence to the order to maintain security in the area.
