Telangana Police Suspend Visa Services To Pakistani Nationals Following Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

CYBERABAD: Cyberabad police commissioner M Ramesh suspended a head constable of Raidurgam police station for allegedly neglecting two Dial-100 calls seeking police assistance after a collision involving two cars near IKEA in Gachibowli.

Head constable Syed Younus (HC-661), who was in charge at the time, allegedly failed to visit the accident spot after the victim called Dial-100 twice seeking police assistance following the collision around midnight on August 1.

Two emergency calls closed without response

Officials found that Younus had closed both complaints citing “trouble from the caller” without visiting the spot.

Following the incident, Ramesh ordered Younus’s immediate suspension.

Suspension to continue pending departmental inquiry

The suspension will remain in force until the departmental inquiry is completed, according to the Cyberabad police commissioner’s orders.
