CV Anand meets mother after taking charge

Hyderabad : Director General of Police C.V. Anand said he met his mother and sought her blessings soon after assuming charge as the state police chief.
In a post on X on Sunday, he shared that his mother had been unwell for nearly three months. “I visited my mother and took her blessings. She was unwell between November and January. Though she is still confined to bed, she has recovered,” he said.
Anand said the meeting was an emotional moment for him and his family. He added, “I felt her strong wish to see her son become the DGP of this state kept her going. She was very happy. So was I.”
He also shared a few photographs from the visit on his social media account.
C.V. Anand recently assumed charge as Telangana’s Director General of Police, taking over the top post in the state police force.
