Cops Arrest Habitual Two Wheeler Theft Offender

Hyderabad: The sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone, along with local police, arrested a habitual two-wheeler theft offender on Wednesday. They detected six cases and recovered four motorcycles worth five lakh rupees.

The accused has been identified as 28-year-old Bishukarma Amar Singh, a resident of Addagutta in Secunderabad. He is a laborer and the son of BK Hari Singh.

The police stated that the accused, Bishukarma Amar Singh, is originally from Nepal. His family migrated to Hyderabad and settled in Addagutta, Secunderabad. He studied up to the 8th grade in school and became addicted to alcohol. His primary occupation as a daily wage laborer was insufficient to fulfill his desire for a lavish lifestyle.

The police revealed that he started stealing two-wheeler vehicles and selling them at a low price in the second-hand market to make quick money. He has been a habitual offender with a criminal record since 2017. Furthermore, he has been arrested by Marredpally, Gopalpuram, and Uppal Police in theft cases.

His modus operandi involves moving around residential areas, where he observes parked vehicles in isolated places or in front of locked houses. He then breaks the handle lock and uses the ignition wire to start the vehicle, police revealed during a press conference.

During an attempt to dispose of a stolen motorcycle, the police swiftly apprehended the accused and recovered four vehicles from his possession. The accused and the seized vehicles were promptly handed over to the Station House Officer (SHO) at Chikkadapally Police Station for further investigation.

Inspector N Ramakrishna, along with the Sub-Inspector D Srikanth Goud, and the staff of the Central Zone Task Force in Hyderabad successfully apprehended the suspect.
