Commuters Face High Risk Due To Potholes In Financial District

NANAKRAMGUDA: Residents, commuters and IT workers in the financial district are facing a major problem due to damaged roads and heavy traffic. They are reportedly unable to drive properly due to the highly dangerous potholes on the roads, leading to numerous traffic jams.

The road from Mubashir Circle, Anvaya Conventions Road, opposite Flipside Adventure Park in the Financial District, which falls under the jurisdiction of Narasingi Municipal Corporation, is badly damaged and has potholes posing a great danger to human lives. Another problem is the streetlights, which are very poorly lit, leading to more accidents.

Srikanth Reddy, an engineer at Microchips, reports that many IT employees travel on this completely damaged stretch of road. It takes several hours to cross this road, leading to immense traffic congestion. The road has been in bad condition for three to four months.

The Narasingi Municipal Corporation office took interim measures to repair the damaged road following several complaints by the residents, commuters and nearby offices. However, the concerned engineer said that this would not take long and the road would soon be damaged again.

Srikanth spoke about the challenges they face on a daily basis, “It is a big challenge for us to use this road to come to the office every day. During the rainy season, driving on this road becomes even more difficult”

Reddy urged officials to take immediate action and find a permanent solution this summer. This will help the citizens of Hyderabad and the residents of Nanakramguda to travel smoothly and safely in the coming rainy season.

Srikanth Reddy took to ‘X’ to express his frustration about the poor roads to the concerned officials. He said, “Near the flipside roundabout in the financial district, the road is damaged and poses a danger to commuters. I’m not sure whose jurisdiction this falls under, but @TSIICLtd, @mcnarsingi may look into this. @HMDA_Gov, @TelanganaCMO, @tsiic_vcmd.”
