Cockroaches found in chutney at KPHB restaurant in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A group of customers was shocked after discovering cockroaches in the chutney served with their tiffins at Madhuram Tiffins in KPHB, near Nexus Mall, Hyderabad.
The incident was highlighted by Daya Arjun (@DayaArjun2) on X (formerly Twitter), who posted, “We came for eating tiffin, but along with me, three others also got cockroaches served in their chutney at Madhuram Tiffins, KPHB, near Nexus Mall, Hyderabad.” In another post, he mentioned, “In the kitchen, there is a washroom @cfs_telangana.”

The post quickly went viral, with many people tagging the Telangana Food Safety Commissioner (CFS) and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), urging for immediate action. In response, the GHMC official handle stated, “The concerned Food Safety team @AFCGHMC has been alerted about this issue, and the matter will be resolved at the earliest.”

The Hyderabad City Police also responded, advising people to contact the Cyberabad Police on WhatsApp at 8712663061, as the mentioned location falls under their jurisdiction.
The incident sparked outrage among citizens, many of whom commented urging authorities to shut down such establishments immediately and revoke their licenses.
