Inspectors discovered numerous issues at Mithaiwala in Dilsukhnagar. The FSSAI license’s true copy was not displayed on the premises, and the kitchen lacked proper protection, with open access to outside areas and no insect-proof screens or closed doors to prevent pest entry.
Drains were also found stagnant and unclean due to uneven surfaces. Additionally, dustbins were open without lids, and houseflies were seen inside the kitchen.
The chaat preparation area was located outside, and medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records were not available. Food articles in the refrigerator were covered but lacked proper labeling with preparation and use-by dates.
Sweets and savories on display were also not labelled with these crucial dates. Expired items, including refined sunflower oil (4 packets) and green chili sauce (0.66 kg), were found and discarded.
Task force team has conducted inspections in Dilsukhnagar area on 31.08.2024.

At Papadams Blue Restaurant and Banquet Hall, the inspection revealed several violations. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were missing, and water analysis reports for the RO water used in food preparation were not available.
The flooring was wet and slippery, creating a hazardous environment. Dustbins were open without lids, and food articles in the refrigerator were not properly labeled. Expired flavoring agents, fruit fillings, and synthetic food colors were discovered and discarded.
A live cockroach infestation was also noted inside the kitchen, and food handlers were found without aprons and gloves. Furthermore, the establishment did not possess an appropriate FSSAI license for the general manufacturing category, despite operating as a central kitchen for five different branches.

At D Mart, while a true copy of the FSSAI license was properly displayed, the inspection identified a problem with the storage of spice bags in the storeroom. The bags were stored directly on the floor, with no gap maintained between the bags and the wall.
