Live Cockroach infestation found at Dosa Darbar in Punjagutta Next Galleria Mall

HYDERABAD: Food Task force team conducted inspections in Punjagutta’s Next Galleria Mall and found some serious health violations on Friday. Team found live Cockroach infestation signs at Dosa Darbar & Chaat Republic. Task force team Inspections include Dosa Darbar & Chaat Republic, The Spicy Beijing, The Nosh Bistro, and The Coffee Cup. Next Galleria Mall is one of the hyped mall in Hyderabad.
Dosa Darbar & Chaat Republic faced multiple violations. The food business operator lacked a valid license, displaying an expired certificate instead. Inspectors found live cockroach infestation in the kitchen. The flooring was broken, potentially harboring more pests. Some food handlers lacked hairnets and uniforms. Although raw food articles were covered and labeled properly, dustbins were open without lids. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were unavailable, though pest control records were present.

Unlabelled raw food articles at Spicy Beijing
The Spicy Beijing did not display a true copy of its FSSAI registration. Although food handlers wore hairnets and uniforms, raw food articles were not labeled properly. Inspectors found partially open dustbins and an exit door not fitted to prevent pests. The establishment lacked medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records.
The Nosh Bistro failed to display its FSSAI license copy. Food handlers were compliant with hairnets and uniforms. Inspectors discarded expired Bread Burger Buns (600g), Packed Paneer (4kg), and Curd (0.5kg). Raw materials like batter and momos lacked packing and use-by dates. Although some raw foods were labeled properly, many were not, and some dustbins lacked lids. Medical fitness certificates and pest control records were not available.
The Coffee Cup displayed its FSSAI license. However, inspectors found some food handlers without hairnets and uniforms. They discarded expired Shrimp (1kg), Jersey Toned Milk (1 packet), and Cuisinary Chinese Chilli Paste (1kg). Coffee bean packets lacked use-by dates and manufacturer details. Raw food articles were covered but not labeled properly. Some dustbins were not covered with lids. Medical fitness certificates and pest control records were available.
