CM Revanth Reddy announces Job Calender release in next assembly session

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has launched Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam scheme at the Praja Bhavan on Saturday. On the same day, Revanth Reddy announced that the Job calendar would be announced in the ensuing budget session of the state Assembly. It was further said that the Government would compile the data of vacancies in every department before March every year. Notification will be issued by June 2 and the recruitment process will be completed by December 9.”
Speaking at this occasion, Revanth Reddy recalled and lauded the efforts of the job aspirants and their role in Telangana movement and said that “Telangana movement was the result of fulfilling the aspirations of youth for jobs. Telangana attained statehood on the pillars of sacrifices.”
Revanth said that the government accorded top priority to address the problems of the unemployed. “Appointment orders filling 30,000 posts were already given within 3 months after coming to power,” said Revanth.
State exams on par with the UPSC
Taking a jibe at the previous BRS government, Revanth Reddy said, “Unemployed youth struggled a lot in the last 10 years. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) was reformed on the lines of Union Public Service Commission. The TGPSC already conducted Group 1 prelims and DSC exams are in progress.”
Further speaking about the recent government’s decision on the postponement of the Group II and Group III services following the protests, Revanth Reddy said, “Government considered the difficulties faced by the unemployed and postponed Group 2 exam. Government’s first priority is to solve the problems of the unemployed and also decide to conduct the examinations efficiently in a well-planned plan.” On Friday, the Telangana State Public Services Commission announced that the Group II services would be conducted in December, 2024, as against the previous schedule to be conducted in the month of August.
