HYDERABAD: The dispute over percentage sharing in the Telugu film industry ended after the intervention of Chiranjeevi. Differences had emerged between exhibitors and producers over revenue-sharing terms for film releases.

Chiranjeevi held discussions separately with exhibitors and producers to resolve the issue. Telangana exhibitors said the actor assured them that all percentage-related issues would be settled before June 30.
Exhibitors continue rental system for major releases
Exhibitors said big-budget films would continue to be screened under the rental system. They also said an agreement had been reached to provide an additional 7.5% payment if ticket prices are increased.
The exhibitors said the matter was discussed in the presence of the Telangana government.
