Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar arrives in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar reached Hyderabad on Friday as part of a three-day tour that also includes a visit to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh.
Warm reception at airport
He arrived at Hyderabad airport at 12.00 pm and was received by Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy and senior officials from the Election Commission.
Meetings with booth-level officers
As part of his Hyderabad schedule, Gyanesh Kumar will interact with booth level officers at Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. He is also scheduled to visit Golconda Fort, Hussainsagar, Charminar and the Salar Jung Museum.
Srisailam visit purely spiritual
The Chief Election Commissioner will leave for Srisailam later in the evening and is expected to reach the Bhramaramba guest house at 6.30 pm. Officials said the Srisailam visit is purely spiritual in nature and there are no official meetings planned in Andhra Pradesh.
Election Commission officials are coordinating with state and district administrations to ensure smooth arrangements for the visit.
