Chevella crash: biker fatally injured while overtaking lorry

CHEVELLA : A 33-year-old man died in a road accident on the Chevella,Shankarpally road in Rangareddy district on Tuesday night.
Lost control while overtaking
Police said the victim, Ramachandraiah of Devuni Yerravalli village in Chevella mandal, was riding a motorcycle from Chevella towards Shankarpally when he attempted to overtake a lorry and lost control.
The motorcycle veered off the road and plunged into bushes, leaving him with severe injuries. He died on the spot.
Body found by motorists
Passing motorists noticed the body on Wednesday morning and alerted the police. Officers who reached the spot gathered details of the deceased and informed the family.
Case registered
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s wife, police registered a case and took up an investigation.
