MADHAPUR: Film actor Chandrahass, known as the “Attitude Star”, has landed in trouble following his conduct at a recent movie pre-release event.
Objections over song performance at film event
Chandrahass, who is acting as the lead in the film Barabar Premista, allegedly sang a song using obscene words during the pre-release event held at a hotel in Jubilee Hills. The incident triggered criticism from cinema audiences and social media users.
TV editor alleges threats
According to police, a television channel editor, Ashok Kumar, released a video criticising the actor’s behaviour at the event. Ashok Kumar later alleged that Chandrahass threatened him over the video.
Police register case, probe underway
Based on the complaint, Madhapur police registered a case against Chandrahass and launched an investigation, said inspector Krishnamohan.
