HYDERABAD:Â A major fire broke out at a construction site within Chandanagar police station limits after a gas cylinder explosion in labour sheds near Lingampally railway station on Saturday.
Cylinder blast triggers blaze at high-rise site
The fire erupted at a construction site of a 50-storey building following the explosion of a gas cylinder kept in temporary sheds, police said.
All workers safe as sheds were vacant
A major tragedy was averted as the labourers had already left for work when the incident occurred. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters bring blaze under control
Three fire engines rushed to the spot and firefighters doused the flames. The exact cause of the explosion is under investigation.
