Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy seeks MPs’ suspension revocation

HYDERABAD: Congress Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy demanded that the suspension imposed on eight MPs be revoked and that they be allowed to participate in the discussion on the no-confidence motion.
Protest after Rahul Gandhi denied chance to speak
Reddy said the MPs entered the Well of the House in protest after Speaker Om Birla allegedly refused to allow Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to speak during the first phase of the budget session.
According to him, the MPs questioned the decision inside the Well of the House.

Eight MPs suspended during budget session
He said Speaker Om Birla suspended eight MPs for raising the issue.
Reddy added that the controversy began after opposition MPs accused the Speaker of acting with bias.
He demanded that the suspension be withdrawn and that the suspended MPs be allowed to participate in the debate on the no-confidence motion.
