Case filed against protesters at Allu Arjun’s residence: DCP West Zone S M Vijay Kumar

Jubilee Hills: Deputy Commissioner of West Zone informed a case against six persons and others involved in the ruckus at Allu Arjun’s Residence in Jubilee Hills. He said stringent legal action is being initiated against them.
Narrating the sequence of events, DCP West Zone S M Vijay Kumar said, “At around 4.45 pm, some persons holding placards in hand suddenly rushed to the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills and started sloganeering and one of them mounted the compound and started throwing tomatoes.”
He further said that when the security staff objected and persuaded them to get down from the wall, they got into an altercation. They climbed down the wall and manhandled the security staff and damaged flower pots along the ramp.
They continued sloganeering for a while and spoke to media persons waiting at the gate. On receiving the information, Jubilee Hills Police arrived and took six persons into custody, added DCP.
“They all claim to be part of OU-JAC and on inquiry, they have claimed that they were trying to protest against the actor seeking help for the victim’s family,” said a statement released by DCP.
It is to be noted that protesters reportedly belonging to Osmania University Joint Action Committee (JAC) members barged into Allu Arjun’s swanky bungalow demanding a life sentence for Allu Arjun.
A group of protesters barged into Allu Arjun’s residence sloganeering ‘Justice to Revathi’s family’, ‘Khabardar Allu Arjun’, ‘demanding life sentence to Allu Arjun, they broke the flower pots inside the residence.
A case has been registered against six persons and others who were involved in the said offences and stringent action as per law is being initiated against them all. It is informed to public that any such lawless behaviour will not be tolerated and stringent legal action will be initiated against anybody who tries to take law into their hands, added DCP West Zone, Hyderabad
