Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand has warned bouncers. He highlighted the increasing disregard shown by bouncers towards public safety and law enforcement, vowing strong legal action against such behavior.

Speaking on the same, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand says, “the issue with bouncers is getting worse day by day. Recently, during the Sandhya theater incident, we saw 40-50 bouncers who didn’t care about the public or police—they were only concerned with opening gates for VIPs. We’re warning all bouncers that if they continue to disrespect police officers, we will take strong legal action. If any bouncers act inappropriately, the responsibility will fall on the VIPs.”

Hyderabad police prepared a comprehensive 10-minute video compilation as key evidence in the Sandhya Theater tragedy case, where a woman died during a film premiere. The footage was presented during the annual police meeting, offering a detailed timeline of the December 4 incident. In the footage, it appears bouncers pushing the police personnel to make way for Allu Arjun.

Police Commissioner C.V. Anand revealed that the investigation team analyzed thousands of CCTV, video footage, and mobile videos to reconstruct the sequence of events at RTC Cross Roads’ Sandhya Theatre. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when actor Allu Arjun arrived for the “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”

The chaos that ensued from overcrowding in the lower balcony led to the death of a spectator, Revathi, due to suffocation. Her son, who was also present, continues to receive treatment at a private hospital.

The police-compiled video evidence captures the movements of Allu Arjun and his family members from their arrival until their departure from the theater premises. Commissioner Anand declined to provide further details, citing the ongoing investigation.
