Thieves target IT minister after burglary incident at Telangana CM’s residence

Hyderabad: Weeks after a theft incident was reported at Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka’s residence in Banjara Hills, the thieves have broken into the residence of IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu.

The burglary took place at the minister’s house while he was staying in the Ministers’ Quarters on Road Number 12, Banjara Hills. The thieves reportedly stole a mobile phone on the occasion of Deepavali.

Congress minister Sridhar Babu has filed a complaint with the police about his stolen mobile phone. The police have registered a case of burglary and launched an investigation. The officials are examining the footage from CCTV cameras near the minister’s residence.

Earlier, Bhatti Vikramarka’s residence was burgled. A complaint was filed, and the police arrested two accused persons for allegedly stealing valuables from the deputy CM’s residence. The police officers recovered a 100-gram gold coin and silver items, Rs. 2.2 lakh in cash and some foreign currency from the duo.
