Burglary at Tollywood Actor Vishwak Sen’s sister’s home in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: An unidentified person broke into the house of Tollywood actor Vishwak Sen’s sister’s residence located on Road No. 8, Filmnagar in Hyderabad.
The incident came to light after C. Raju, the actor’s father, lodged a complaint at the Filmnagar police station. In his complaint, Raju said the burglary took place early Sunday and stole the diamond rings and Rs. 2.2 lakh in cash.
According to reports, Sen’s sister, who lives on the third floor of the building, noticed that her belongings were scattered across the room. Suspecting burglary, she immediately checked her lockers and found that two diamond rings and the cash was missing. She quickly informed her father, who then approached the police.
After receiving a complaint, the police reached their home and collected fingerprints with the help of a forensic team. They also accessed the footage from the spot and nearby areas. CCTV footage revealed that at around 5.50 am, an unidentified individual arrived on a bike, parked it in front of the house, unlocked the gate and entered the premises.
The suspect went directly to the third floor and broke into the bedroom through the back door and stole the diamond rings from the almirah and left the place in a matter of 20 minutes.
The police suspect that the theft might have been committed by someone who is familiar with the family and its members, as he went straight to the third floor. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
