Building collapse victim appeal telangana CM

Hyderabad: In a dramatic turn of events, the parents of a 25-year-old woman, Jyoti, have urgently appealed to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to intervene in saving their daughter’s life.

According to reports, Jyoti, who was injured in a building collapse on August 18, 2024, is in dire need of surgery, but her treatment is being impeded due to an ongoing strike by neurosurgeons at Gandhi Hospital.

The patient named Jyoti, who was shifted to Gandhi Hospital by 108 Ambulance following the incident, was diagnosed with fractures in her ankle and left leg. Scans have confirmed the need for immediate surgical intervention. She is currently registered under case number 54897 at TMT 1st Floor, Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad.

Sushila, Jyoti’s mother, explained, “We live in Andhra Pradesh and have Arogya Shri coverage there, but not in Telangana. I am deeply concerned as the neurosurgeon here is on strike.”

In a heartfelt plea, Sushila added, “My daughter’s life is in danger. The lady doctor who was tragically killed in Kolkata was also like my daughter. I am begging you to please save my daughter.”
