Traffic advisory issued for Bryan Adams concert at GMR Arena, Shamshabad
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police have issued a traffic advisory in light of the live music concert by Bryan Adams, which is set to take place today, December 16, 2024 (Monday) at the GMR Arena, Shamshabad. The event will be held between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., and several traffic regulation measures are in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the concert.
According to the advisory, specific traffic diversions and restrictions will be implemented at key junctions in the area. The affected junctions include the routes leading from the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGI).
Traffic coming from ORR towards the airport will follow the regular route from Rotary-1 to Rotary-3, which leads to RGI Airport. However, there will be no alternate routes available during the affected time period, which will be between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
In addition, traffic on the GMR Service Road, which leads to the GMR Arena, will be restricted. Vehicles coming from all directions are advised to avoid this road during the event. Similar to the ORR diversion, no alternate route will be provided, and the restriction will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The Cyberabad Police have requested the public to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety around the event.
