Khairatabad: Bharat Rastra Samithi(BRS) MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy lashed out at Khairatabad legislator Danam Nagender on Sunday. Danam Nagender who won from Khairatabad assembly seat on BRS ticket switched loyalties to Congress after later came to power.

In a press meet at BRS Bhavan Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy recalling when Danam Nagender shited loyalties to TRS (now BRS) in 2018 said, “On 22, June 2018 while resigning Congress and joining TRS now (BRS), you have alleged that Congress had deceived Telangana. And you have further went on to win from Kairathabad assembly seat twice in 2018 and 2023 with the blessing of BRS supremo K Chandra Shekar Rao(KCR) added Reddy”.

He further said, “Revanth Reddy claimed that Danam Nagender used to sell Beedis at Khairatabad. Now you have to reveal to the public how you amassed huge wealth?. We will bring out all the irregularities committed by you and make it public in the near future. Many of your victims approached and shared their plight with us.”

Reddy dared Danam Nagender that, “If you have guts resign and contest the election from the Khairatabad seat”. Reddy also challenged all the Nine BRS MLA who defected to resign and contest from their respective seats.

He further assured the BRS party workers, that “ No need of worry for BRS workers. Under the leadership of KCR we will regain power and ensure justice is served”. Citing the example of Telugu Desam party(TDP) regaining power in 2024 after losing in 2019 he hoped that same will be repeated in Telangana also and KCR will become Chief minister once again, added Reddy.

Two days ago Danam Nagender made sensational comments on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) party, that only a couple of MLAs would be left in the BRS as all others are ready to join the Indian National Congress Party, which is in power in Telangana.

Nagender further added that in the next 15 days, BRS will merge into Congress. “Only a couple of them would be left, those leaders would also be in dilemma. No one would stay there (BRS) wholeheartedly. Whoever has self respect would not stay in the BRS party” said Nagender.
