Hyderabad: A six-year-old boy was rescued on Friday afternoon, February 21, 2025, after getting trapped in a malfunctioning lift in an apartment complex in Masab Tank, Shanti Nagar, Hyderabad. The incident occurred between the ground floor and the first floor.

Fire brigade and Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams used welding machines to free the boy, who had become stuck between the lift and the wall.

According to the police, the boy’s relatives, including his grandparents and mother, were present at the scene when authorities arrived. An ambulance was immediately alerted, and the boy was rushed to Niloufer Hospital for treatment after being freed.
