HYDERABAD: Panic gripped Bowenpally on Saturday morning after a fire broke out at an optical store near Centre Point, a busy commercial area.
According to preliminary information, the fire was reported at around 11.00 IST. Fire department teams rushed to the spot with multiple fire engines and began operations to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby establishments.
Thick smoke billowing from the store caused alarm among passersby and shopkeepers. Authorities restricted public movement in the area as a precaution and advised commuters to avoid the route during the emergency response.
