Boduppal bakery raided over harmful cake ingredients
HYDERABAD: The Special Operations Team (SOT) of the Uppal zone police conducted a surprise raid on Amnams Gulf Bakers in Boduppal after receiving information about the preparation of cakes using unsafe ingredients.
During the raid, police found that cakes were being prepared using harmful chemicals, expired colours and powders. Officials also found large quantities of such materials stored at the bakery.
The SOT team seized the stocks during the operation. Further details regarding the seized materials and action against those responsible were not immediately available.
