Blinkit delivery workers attack security guards at Kukatpally Rainbow Vistas
HYDERABAD: Two security guards were injured after a group of Blinkit delivery workers and their associates allegedly attacked them at the Rainbow Vistas RVRG gated community in Kukatpally on Saturday.
The incident began when a security guard stopped a Blinkit delivery worker from entering the premises without mandatory permission at the gate, residents said. Following the intervention, several delivery workers and their associates gathered at the spot and assaulted the security personnel on duty.
CCTV cameras installed at the gated community captured the assault, showing the guards being attacked near the entrance. The injured guards were provided medical assistance, residents said.

A complaint has been lodged with the Kukatpally police, and CCTV footage has been handed over as evidence. Police said they are examining the footage and will take action based on the findings.
In response to the incident, the Rainbow Vistas RVRG management suspended delivery services by Blinkit workers within the gated community.
Similar incidents involving delivery workers have earlier been reported from Mumbai and Noida. Residents said the Kukatpally episode raised concerns over safety and access control in gated communities in Hyderabad.
