BJP leads in Chevella parliament seat
Chevella: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, from Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) is leading in the Chevella parliamentary segment with a majority of over 54,000 votes. He has garnered a total of 161925 votes, putting him ahead in the race. Following behind is Dr Gaddam Ranjith Reddy from the Indian national congress(INC), who has received 107051 votes, trailing by a margin of 54874 votes.
In third place, Kasani Gyaneshwar from Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) has secured 32141 votes trailing behind the two leading candidates. The vote counting process in the Chevella parliamentary segment is being closely observed by three parties.
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, from Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) who won Chevella Parliament seat earlier in 2014 and lost in 2019. Dr Gaddam Ranjith Reddy from the Indian National Congress(INC) is the sitting Member of Parliament (MP) from Chevella parliamentary seat.
Telangana state went for the Parliamentary elections for its 17 Lok Sabha constituencies on May 13, 2024. As the results are scheduled to be announced on June 4, the counting process across the counting centers began at 8pm on Tuesday morning. This time, the ruling Indian National Congress(INC) party, opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are in the foray.
