Bjp Condemns 'pre Planned Attack' On Office, Blames Congress.

Nampally: Union Minister and Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) President G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, BJP General Secretary Kasam Venkateshwarlu, and others condemned a ‘pre-planned attack’ on their party office. Congress workers protested at the BJP office against BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri’s comments about Priyanka Gandhi.

BJP leaders addressed the media at Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan in Nampally, Hyderabad. According to the BJP leaders, assailants armed with eggs, sticks, and iron rods targeted BJP sympathizers, including women supporters, at the party office. OBC Morcha State President Anand Goud and Nanda Raju were among those who addressed the incident.

Telangana BJP State President G. Kishan Reddy termed it a “cowardly act” involving stones and sticks. “The attack on our state office gate in police presence is criminal. Congress goons attacked our office and workers while the police merely acted as spectators,” Reddy stated, suggesting police complicity in the incident. The party is resorting to such acts due to public anger at their incompetence. It’s only been a year since they took office.”

Reddy, addressing the protests over former Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s comments about Priyanka Gandhi, noted that Bidhuri had already apologized. He contrasted this with past incidents where Congress leaders made controversial remarks about Prime Minister Modi, citing terms like “Maut ka Saudagar” and “Hitler,” for which he said no apologies were ever issued.

Leaders decry police and state government role

“If we were to respond in kind, no Congress leader could walk the streets. But this isn’t our culture,” Reddy declared, concluding with a warning to the Congress to change its approach. He emphasized that while the BJP doesn’t encourage violent politics, they would not tolerate attacks against their party.

Reddy implicated Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The attack couldn’t have happened without his knowledge. He warned of dire consequences, “If BJP workers lose patience, Congress leaders will be unable to recover.”

“Is this the ‘Praja Palana’ (people’s governance) promised by the Congress government?” questioned BJP State General Secretary Dr. Kasam Venkateshwarlu, referring to the attack on the BJP party office.

He further accused Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud of bearing responsibility for the attack. He alleged that Youth Congress members, with state authorities’ help, orchestrated it. “How could they enter the BJP party office without the police’s knowledge?” questioned the leaders.

The BJP representatives expressed serious concern about what they viewed as a coordinated effort between the police and the state government, questioning law enforcement’s failure to prevent the attackers from entering the party premises. “Our legal team is on the way to file a formal complaint with both the Director General of Police and the Hyderabad Police Commissioner,” said Kasam
