Hyderabad: Another misdeed of Bhujanga Rao, former Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) who was arrested in an in-famous phone tapping case came to the surface with the victim’s family approaching the police and filing a formal complaint with Cyberabad police.

As per the exclusive details gathered by Hyderabad Mail, a family in Hyderabad has come forward with a shocking tale of how Rao, along with others, allegedly conspired to seize their ancestral property through threats of life, fake cases, and third-degree torture.

According to the complainant, the accused officer entered into a civil dispute about land in Kukatpally. Going further into the details, the case is about 340 acres of land in Sy. No.1007 of Kukatpally, which was the ancestral property of the complainant’s family. As the civil suit was going on between the family members, the complainant’s father who was ignorant of the court procedure took the help of two persons S.S. Moinuddin and Yaseen Shakir. Taking advantage of the situation, the duo conspired to illegally grab the land by creating a fictitious partnership firm now called “Prime Properties”.

Further, the complainant alleged that they had fabricated false documents by forgery of the signatures of the complaint’s father, impersonating him, and committed a breach of trust. Subsequently, the complainant’s father filed a criminal case against the partners of Prime Properties including, S.S. Moinuddin, and Mohammed Yasin Shakir. In connection with the same, the KPHP police started an investigation and even arrested Mohammed Yasin Shakir in May 2014.

Entry of Bujanga Rao

The SHO of KPHB P.S. submitted a charge sheet, but the accused ensured its return by falsely claiming a High Court stay was still in effect. Despite the stay having expired, police, under pressure from Bhujanga Rao, the then ACP of Kukatpally, failed to resubmit the charge sheet, even after court reminders. The accused later submitted a fabricated affidavit, falsely claiming the complainant’s father admitted to being an imposter, in an attempt to quash the FIR,” alleged the complainant.

Meanwhile, complainant’s father died on 30 June 2020 allegedly due to the torture given through third-degree methods and the stress caused by their criminal acts to illegally grab the land.
